Hi, I’m Jenn Sparano, the face behind 914Speaks! 

I am a Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in New York State and hold the following certifications:

- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association)
-Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD)

-PROMPT Trained

I have extensive experience working with infants, children, and adolescents of all ages. I am dedicated to supporting each client’s communication skills and overall development, always considering their unique interests, strengths, and needs. Through strong collaboration with families, I work to ensure that progress extends beyond the therapy room into daily routines, promoting meaningful growth and celebrated victories. There is nothing more rewarding than watching my clients thrive and succeed.

In addition to providing direct services, I personally pair each family with a therapist whose skills and strengths best meet their child’s needs. I serve as the first step of the intake process, guiding families from the initial call and remaining closely involved throughout their journey. As the therapist works with the family, I stay connected every step of the way to ensure support, consistency, and high-quality care.

My name is Alyssa, and I am a co-leader of the Language and Learning for Littles classes! 

I’m a mom of three and a dedicated special education teacher. I hold a Master’s Degree in Literacy from Pace University and certifications in Childhood Education, Students with Disabilities, and Literacy (Birth–6th Grade).

With 12 years of teaching experience across kindergarten through fifth grade, I bring a deep understanding of early childhood development and a true love for learning. I am especially passionate about teaching through exploration—sensory bins, multisensory activities, and engaging read-alouds are some of my favorite ways to spark curiosity and support skill building, both in the classroom and at home with my own children.

I am thrilled to be part of the 914 Speaks team and can’t wait to support our littlest learners as they grow and discover new things!
